Collection Description

The photographs depict student activities, academics, clubs and athletics; alumni; staff/faculty; presidents; buildings and spaces on campus; the reconstruction and dedication of Fort Schuyler in the 1930s; aerial views; military formations; special events and commencement ceremonies; and life aboard the early schoolships St. Mary's (1875-1908) and Newport (1907 - 1931) as well as subsequent training ships Empire State I through EmpireState VI.
