Abstract
Handwritten letter in brown ink on lined A.T. Stewart &  Co. letterhead from A. T. Stewart and Co., regarding a shipment of "brown sheeting" sent to Sailors' Snug Harbor. The sender states that these are the same type of goods as previously sent, but that Governor Melville may return them if they are unsuitable.
