Abstract
Handwritten letter from S. A. [Samuel A.] Hitchcock, to Sailors' Snug Harbor, probably handled by Captain Thomas Melville, to accompany a bill for barrels of cider vinegar. He explains that the order should have been filled earlier but that it had just arrived when the order was received, the vinegar was cloudy.
