Handwritten letter from M. B. Monroe, Steward at the New Jersey State Asylum for the Insane to the Trustees of Sailors' Snug Harbor, (possibly received by Captain Thomas Melville, Governor). Monroe notes that a quarterly bill for the maintenance of "McNalley" [John McNally] and "Heiney" [possibly Thomas Hearney?] from June 22, 1878 to September 22, 1878.
