Abstract
Handwritten letter from Thomas Greenleaf, Controller, Office of the Trustees of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Thomas Melville, asking him to draw the Steward's attention to the fact that in September, three bills have been certified twice as being correct, and Greenleaf has just discovered a fourth error, in "Schieffehn's bill of 26th August," which has been paid both on September 1 and October 1.
