Abstract

Handwritten letter from Rev. Morgan Dix, to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding inquiries about a man [name illegible] who approached Dix claiming to have been the gardener of Sailors' Snug Harbor, about some trouble that the man is in.  The gardener was being discharged at the end of the month and Dix writes Melville for more information about the discharge.
