Abstract

Handwritten letter from R. J. [Robert James] Pennell, to the Governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding the transfer of the property of the late James Davison [Davidson] from Sailors' Snug Harbor to Mrs. Martha R. [Richardson] Riley. Pennell states that this is the wish of Captain [A. T.] Fletcher, and three of the daughters of James Davison [Davidson]. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
