Handwritten letter from R. B. [Robert Bennet] Forbes, of Sailors' Snug Harbor of Boston, to Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding a man named John Reamear [Reamer] that has applied to Sailors' Snug Harbor of Boston. Forbes asks if Reamer was a part of Sailors' Snug Harbor, and if he left because of disobedience. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors’ Snug Harbor.
