Identifier
SC-0016-III-A-1-0276Abstract
Handwritten letter from Lewis & Case, of Fulton, NY, to Captain Thomas Melville, asking if Levi Montigue [Montague] is in good standing at Sailors' Snug Harbor and whether he is able to return. The sender [name unclear, perhaps Jon/Jonathan?] will pay for a ticket for Montague to return to Snug Harbor if he is able to return, as there is no one in Fulton to care for him.
