Abstract

Handwritten letter from Edward Plummer, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asserting that he is innocent of the report that he was out on July 8. He states that his roommate will corroborate that he was there and that Captain Sherry must have missed seeing him come in.
