Abstract

Handwritten letter from M. G. [Manuel Gonzales] Echeverria, physician at the N.Y. City Asylum for the Insane, to Reverend Charles J. [John] Jones, regarding former Sailors' Snug Harbor inmate J. [Joseph] R. Wilson. Echeverria writes that he while he has operated on Wilson's amputated leg, he believes that Wilson is not mentally fit to be discharged from the Asylum.
