Abstract
Handwritten letter from Edmund B. Double, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor residing in the Hudson River State Hospital, to Captain Ambrose Snow, explaining that he has been put in the asylum due to standing up for his rights, that he is not insane, and that he asks Snow to intervene, as the governor of the Harbor has not done so.
