Trask, with his account of an incident that took place between himself and another inmate after hours. He mentions Captain [Hiram] Chaffee. Received while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor. [Cataloger's note: The letter is undated but filed with 1887 correspondence.]
