Abstract
Handwritten letter from James Tibby, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, stating that he is still selling hammocks in Buffalo and would like a two-month extension of his leave for that and to work aboard a ship on the lakes. He adds that he may be able to send Mrs. Trask some lake trout before the end of the season.
