Auction receipt handwritten by N. [Nicklas] Nicklason, steward, Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding the sale of the effects of several inmates, including P. Roney [Patrick Rooney?], H. [Henry] Lynn, H. [Henry] Ward, Amasa Arey, and J [?] Smith, as well as other items at an auction on April 9, 1873. Written while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
