Abstract
Handwritten letter from Chandler Robbins, of the Samaritan Home for the Aged, to the Manager of Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding a man named Francis A. Mackey [sp?], who was applying to the Samaritan Home for the Aged. Robbins writes that Mackey says he had been with the Harbor for thirty years, and asks for any information the Harbor may have on him. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
