Letter from J. [Joseph] K. Clark, Steward, Sailor's Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, stating that he has investigated the charges made by H. [Henry] C. Burch against J. O'Brien, the waiter at table 9, and had found that the two had not gotten along for some time. Then, the night before, O'Brien had stumbled on Burch's crutches, tripped, and had verbally abused Burch, who responded in kind.
