Abstract

Handwritten petition from Inmates of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding their roommate [Robert] Adamson, whom snores "so fearfully, so continuously, and so much beyond anything [they] have ever experienced", to the point where none of them get sleep. The inmates request that Adamson or the rest of the roommates be removed to solve the situation.
