Abstract

Handwritten letter from Henry Macy, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asking that the special evening pass that he was given while the librarian at the Harbor, and which has never been revoked, continue to remain valid. A red pencil note over the letter's text states that this was approved by Governor Trask on March 30, 1888.
