Handwritten letter from Henry Macy, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, accompanying an accounting of the books by S. [Selden] C. Judson sold by Macy during his time as librarian of the Harbor, and stating that Macy has money to give Judson when he next visits. Macy explains that there were 86 copies in the library when he handed it over to Captain [Joseph W.] Stevens.
