Handwritten letter from Joseph Arey, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to the governor, discussing marked clothing that someone at home has promised to send back to him, after neglecting to give it back to him during his last visit. Received while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
