Abstract

Handwritten letter from A. W. S., , inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, claiming that Mr. Davis, in the southwest building, accepted a bribe not to report a man who was drunk in his room, and expressing other complaints about Davis. The writer describes himself as "an inmate and friend of 11 years good standing."
