Abstract
File copy of a typewritten letter from Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, Governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Dr. J. M. Cleaveland of the Hudson River State Hospital, acknowledging receipt by Dr. [Henry DeWitt] Joy of the prices for clothing furnished by the hospital. Trask is pleased with the prices and is happy to have the hospital supply the items needed by inmates of Sailors' Snug Harbor housed at the hospital. He acknowledges the exception of J. O. [James O.] Elliott, who Cleveland believes should continue to receive clothing from the Harbor. Trask hopes to reduce the cost of housing inmates at the hospital to the same as the cost for housing them elsewhere.
