Abstract
Handwritten letter from Alfward [Alfred?] Dunbar, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, regarding being readmitted back into the Harbor. Dunbar states he originally left to find his Sisters and Brother in Boston, but arrived to find they were all dead, so he came back to Staten Island. Dunbar states he is currently living at the Richmond Alms House and will be out in three weeks.
