On the back of the photograph there is the caption "Leaving Bremen" with no date. Based on the destinations of the cruises, this means the photo was taken in either 1963 or 1971, both times in which Janis Krastins was a cataloguer at SUNY Maritime College. There are other photos showing he went on one of the cruises in 1971, so that is the main date set for the photos, but it may be from 1963.
