Abstract
Handwritten letter from Daniel G. Kamp to Mr. Malboro [possibly Thomas Melville?], mentioning that he had met with Malboro some time ago to request employment as a cook and that he had left his name and address with his office. Kamp mentions that he has not heard back and is still interested in employment. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor. In the upper left corner is a diamond-shaped embossed seal with the word "Hudson".
