Abstract

Handwritten letter from Horatio C. King, of The Christian Union, to the Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor, [at this time R. P. Smythe, and also presumably received by Governor Thomas Melville], regarding an elderly sailor, Hiram Draper, of Cornwall on Hudson. Mr. King wishes to know what needs to be done to secure admission to Sailors' Snug Harbor for Mr. Draper.
