Abstract

Handwritten letter from T. W. Seward, treasurer of the New York State Lunatic Asylum at Utica, to Dr. Stephen Van Rensselaer Bogeart, physician at Sailors' Snug Harbor, referring to a previous letter (perhaps that of August 23, 1877, regarding payment of a bill for George Winslow). Seward states that he had believed the letter in question to have been sent and that the interest on the bill would be canceled.
