Abstract
Handwritten letter from a representative of the Ansonia Clock Company, to R.P. Smythe, the Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor (presumably received by Governor Thomas Melville), notifying him of the fee for the mountings and yoke for "the bell." They will also "send a man down to remedy the rust on movement complained of by Mr. Benedict."
