Abstract
Handwritten letter from William I. Fielding, president of the National Mattress Company, to Captain Thomas Melville, accompanying an illustrated catalog. He wishes to know as soon as the decision is made to take proposals for fitting out the new building at Sailors' Snug Harbor with iron beds, so that they can submit a proposal early enough to have ample time to get the beds just right.
