Abstract
Handwritten letter from Dr. John P. Gray of the New York State Lunatic Asylum at Utica, to Dr. Stephen Van Rensselaer Bogart, physician at Sailors' Snug Harbor, informing him that one of the patients from Sailors' Snug Harbor, Thomas Hill, died on May 31 and that his remains will be buried at the Asylum. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor at Sailors' Snug Harbor.
