Abstract
Handwritten letter from John Bridge, of Savannah, Ga., to the Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor, asking for information about his father, also John Bridge, who was an inmate of Snug Harbor. Bridge has written previously to the Superintendent and to his father and has heard nothing, so wishes to know if his father is still at Sailors' Snug Harbor. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
