Abstract
Handwritten letter from Horace A. Buttolph, physician at the New Jersey State Asylum for the Insane, to Dr. Stephen Van Rensselaer Bogart, of Sailors' Snug Harbor, informing him that he believes Diedrich Voga [Diedrick Voge] will not survive much longer and requesting instruction about his burial, should Voge die. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
