Abstract

Handwritten letter from A. [Artemus] T. Fletcher, of New York Board of Underwriters, to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding the passing of the late James Davidson. Fletcher asks Melville to give the belongings of Davidson to his niece, Martha Richardson Riley, who was at the Harbor with Davidson's grandson, Robert James Pennell, shortly after Davidson's death. Fletcher mentions that he will write to Mr. Pennell stating the same.
