Abstract
Handwritten letter from J. [John] B. Tullock, inmate of the New York State Lunatic Asylum at Utica, to Dr. Stephen Van Rensselaer Bogart, physician at Sailors' Snug Harbor. Tullock explains that he still has spinal disease and cannot do manual labor but that he is much improved and wishes to return to the Sailors' Snug Harbor. He sends his respects to Governor Melville.
