Abstract

Handwritten letter from A. Livingston Esq., to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding payment of $20 for a survey done, asking him to ask Mr. Riker if the papers have been recorded, and stating that Mr.  Meys [sp?] would like the abstract of title returned. The other half of the letter is Melville's reply, stating that the payment was received and given to John Bogart [who presumably did the survey] and the abstract of title was sent back.
