Abstract
Handwritten letter from C. [Calvin] B. Walker, Acting Commissioner, Pension Office, Department of the Interior, to the Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor, explaining that a claim to a Navy invalid pension for the late William W. Blake has been made by a George Johnson. Walker asks for additional information regarding the death and subsequent funeral arrangement costs of Mr. Blake.
