Abstract

Handwritten letter from J. P. Kirkpatrick, to Captain Thomas Melville, recommending that a man named Robert Devine be re-accepted to Sailors' Snug Harbor. Devine had been previously expelled for drunkenness and Kirkpatrick states that Levine has since reformed.
