Abstract

Handwritten letter from Eliza M. Trundy, to Dr. Bogart [Stephen Van Rensselaer Bogart], regarding the intent for her husband, Captain George A. Trundy, to retire to Sailors' Snug Harbor in the middle of April. Trundy asks if there is any notice needed for his admittance to the Harbor. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
