Abstract

Handwritten letter from Mrs. [J.] Shields, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, notifying him that Charles L. Creighton's body had arrived and that Father [John?] Barry's letter had also arrived. She thanks him for his efforts, as well as those of Mr. [B. M.?] Lowells and Reverend [Charles John] Jones and mentions that a basket of Creighton's belongings were to be sent to his cousin, a Mrs. M. Kelly, and requesting that be done if possible.
