Abstract

Handwritten letter by William Harker on behalf of James Kearney, to Rev. Chas. [Charles] J. Jones. Kearney thanks Jones for the gift of a clock and states that when Kearney has "ceased to need the clock," he hopes that Jones will consider it his again. Written while Captain Thomas Melville was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
