Abstract
Letter from Mrs. Beltie [Bettie?] Gray to Sailors' Snug Harbor, asking if a man by the name of Nelson H. Gray is an inmate at the Harbor. He had been employed at the Old Dominion Steamship Company under the name George W. Brown and was in the US Navy under the name of George W. Beverly. 

Received while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
