Handwritten letter from Edward Kelly, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asking to be relieved of his duties in the reading room, as he has friends in the city that wish him to visit them frequently enough that he can't fulfill his duties.
