Letter from Benjamin F. Clifford to the "Doctor," presumably the physician at Sailors' Snug Harbor, perhaps Henry DeWitt Joy. Clifford asks if he can stay in the hospital, as he is feeling unwell. [Cataloger's note: This note is undated but is filed with the letters from inmates in 1886, while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.]
