Abstract

Handwritten letter from Thomas Cardin to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, informing him that their ship arrived on May 3, but that he had not been able to write on that date. They still do not know their destination but he says that he understands if he has been expelled and asks for forgiveness if so.
