Abstract
Handwritten letter from Michael Mockler to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asking if he knows the whereabouts of Patrick Mockler, who had been one of the inmates at Sailors' Snug Harbor, but whom the writer has not seen in six months. A notation on the back of the letter gives the name of the inmate as Richard Mockler.
