Abstract

Handwritten letter from Isaiah F. Chase, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, explaining that he has blankets in the garret but needs Trask's permission to be able to access them. An addendum on the back by Joseph K. Clark, Steward, states that these were delivered to Chase on September 20.
