Abstract
Handwritten statement by Joshua F. Stafford stating that Paul Jones, the waiter at table 9, fills his own plate from the table platter and eats it, while paying no attention to the table. Stafford also asserts that Jones steals butter from the table and insults Stafford. A notation on the back gives the date as February 1888. Written while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
