Handwritten letter from Henry C. Burch, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, complaining about Mr. [J.] O'Brien, a waiter at table No. 17, lower east dining room. Burch describes several hostile encounters between O'Brien and himself and states that "Mr. Brooks who works for Doctor Bogart" will vouch for Burch's account of an incident that involved kicking.
