Abstract

Handwritten letter from John T. Blatchford to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, attempting to clarify the events that occurred between Blatchford and Sailors' Snug Harbor William F. Pray on February 23, [1888]. Blatchford claims that Pray accused him of "writing for Mr. [Thomas?] Kenney when [Blatchford] knew [Pray] was doing it." [Cataloger's note: It is not clear to this cataloger whether or not Blatchford was an inmate of the Harbor but the letter is written from Sailors' Snug Harbor.]
